Old Breakers Stock, Untested Items & Unknown Model Disclaimer
We take alot of care with the 2nd hand motorcycle parts and spares we sell, but, some of the items we sell are from job lots of parts we have bought or old breakers stock (i.e. not from bikes we have broken for spares ourselves):
We place this disclaimer on certain used parts for 2 main reasons:
1) We use this disclaimer when we are not 100% sure which make, model or year of motorbike or scooter the part came from.
If you see a part with this disclaimer, please check the part number (if supplied) & photo against your old part or Contact Us if you want more information (e.g. measurements) about the part before purchasing!
2) We also use this disclaimer for certain parts (like CDI's, carbs, relays etc) & parts we haven't been able to test on a running bike or scooter.
Where ever possible we check items visibly for damage & check that parts move as they should, but, especially with item's like untested engines, CDI's, carbs, relays & some NOS (New Old Stock) items, the only way to properly test them is on a running bike.
These parts can still be returned to us for a full refund (unless otherwise stated) if they don't fit or if they are faulty, BUT:
IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO RETURN THESE ITEMS TO WHITE DOG MOTORCYCLE ACCESSORIES AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE!!
Please remember-We don't refund for fully or partly dismantled items & for items returned with parts missing (& yes, we do check!!!).
