This battery is a maintenance free upgrade/alternative to the old style conventional lead acid YB14L-A2 battery (also known as a 12N14-3A). This sealed type battery is the same size and terminal layout as the old lead acid YB14L-A2, but is slightly more powerful and once sealed, doesnt require topping up with distilled water.
The first letter (Y, C or G) denotes the motorcycle battery manufacturer and can be substituted for another letter depending on the make of battery, for example: YB14L-A2, CB14L-A2, GB14L-A2 are all the same battery
