Straight non-detergent engine oil for vintage motorcycle engines.
Part of the Fuchs-Silkolene Classics range.
Silkolene Classic oils are blended using modern base stocks and additives to suit the the requirements of older motorcycles, cars and other vintage engines.
Classic Donnington 40 straight oil is a non-detergent oil that is ideal for very old engines with total loss lubrication systems where engine speeds are low and operating temperatures are moderate.
Donnington40 can also be used in engines with re-circulation systems (as long as the sump or oil tank is drained every 1000 miles).
Silkolene Donnington 40 is a precisely and carefully controlled and blended product that is manufactured to internationally recognised specifications and is designed to match the viscosity grades and specifications recommended by the engine manufacturers in the early part of the 20th century.
Viscosity:Monograde non detergent (SAE 40)
Suitable for use in classic motorcycle and cars engines requiring an SAE40 oil with no detergents.
Available in 5 litre drums only.
