About this item.....
Silkolene Comp 4 10w30 is a synthetic, ester based 4-stroke engine oils with Electrosyntec Technology (Electrosyntec uses electrostatic forces to bond low friction molecules to stressed metal surfaces, releasing hidden power and improving performance).
Comp 4 1030 is suitable for all high performance motorcycles that require a 10w30 grade oil and ensures rapid oil circulation on cold start, excellent lubrication under all conditions and superior wet clutch performance.
Comp4 10w30 is particularly recommended for certain late model Honda motorcycles that specifically require a 10/30 weight oil.
Comp4 10w30 has an exceptional stay-in-grade formula that protects motorbike engines and transmissions and combats wear and friction on all critical load surfaces (even at high temperatures and during cold starts).
Fuchs-Silkolene Comp 4 has been formulated to meet the needs of both air and water cooled 4-stroke engines.

Question: Which engine oil do I need for a CB600FA7 Hornet?
Answer: For a Honda CB 600 FA7 Hornet (2007) we would recommend either Silkolene Comp 4 10w30 or
Rock Oil Guardian 10w30.
You should need about 4 litres of oil for an oil change.
Question: I just wanted to know what does JASO MA and JASO MA2 standard for oil mean?
Answer: Warning, the following part is a bit boring (unless your an oil anorak!):
JASO stands for an oil standards organisation known as the
Japanese Automotive Standards Organization.
In 1998 Jaso developed a set of standards for 4 stroke oils which were measured against an oils ability to resist clutch friction, slippage, protection offered against engine wear and pitting in the gear box (JASO-MA was the standard given to higher friction oils and JASO-MB to lower friction oils).
JASO-MA2 is a recent standard brought out by JASO for oils which meet the stringent motorcycle performance needs of later (and more modern) motorcycle engines.
The JASO MA and MA2 specifications are the only true motorcycle specific approvals available and as such are a sign that the oil has passed stringent motorcycle performance tests.
