Silkolene Super 4 10w40 Fuchs-Silkolene Super 4 10w40 is a semi-synthetic Jaso MA2 approved 4-stroke engine oil designed for use in all modern motorcycle engines that require an oil rating of up to API SG.
Super4 1040 is blended with MC-Syn Technology (Molecular Conversion) which incorporates a carefully chosen and blended selection of detergents, dispersants and load carrying agents to give excellent engine cleanliness and minimum wear of moving parts.
Silkolene Super 4 contains a balanced blend of inhibitors and anti-wear agents to ensure correct operation of wet (oil immersed) clutches and other drive line and engine components.
The advanced additive chemistry of Super 4 (4T) protects the motorbike engine and transmission from start-up to full power.

Question: Why dont you recommend using a better oil (like fully synthetic) with the Suzuki TL1000?
Answer: Amongst the numerous faults and recalls associated with the Suzi TL 1000 when it was released was a problem with the clutch. Basically, the standard clutch could only handle about 10 to 15 more BHP then the engine put out (most clutches will be able to handle quite a bit more BHP to allow for upgrades that increase the power!).
Suzukis answer to this problem was to recall the bikes, fit a washer kit to the clutch and recommend using a lower spec engine oil.
