Maintenance Free Battery Filling and Charging Service

Maintenance Free (sealed type) and Gel Replacement Batteries

(usually start with the code YTX/GTX/CTX, YT/CT/GT or YTZ/CTZ/GTZ)

Sealed for life type motorcycle batteries normally come with a separate battery acid pack which needs to be emptied into the battery before use & the batteries require an initial top up charge to reach their full capacity before the first use.

For a small, additional charge, we will fill the battery with acid & charge the battery up before it is sent out so that when you receive the battery it can be fitted straight onto the motorcycle or scooter.

As part of this charging process, we also test the batteries before they are sent out to ensure they hold the correct amount of charge.

Please note- This service usually means the battery will be sent 1 working day later as we normally require 6 to 12 hours to charge & test the batteries before they are sent out.

Unfortunately, this service is only available for sealed type (maintenance free) batteries.
Conventional (or lead acid type) batteries cannot be filled & charged before they are sent out (the acid would leak during shipment!).
