Alternatively, if your a kind hearted sort of soul, of are just sh*t nuts with too much money, you could let them keep your few quids from the entry fee & let them donate it to the James Padget Hospital anyway?????????????????????????????????????????

EASTERN LIGHTS MOTORCYCLE & SCOOTER CAVALCADE

In 2008, bikers raised a record amount for the James Paget Hospital by taking part in the Eastern Lights Motorcycle Cavalcade and organisers are now busy planning this year’s run.
The total amount raised was £14,330, bringing the total raised to £57,000 in 7 years.

Taking place on Sunday 26th July 2009, this year’s cavalcade will follow the usual route. Starting in Norwich it will then travel along the A47 through Acle to Great Yarmouth before joining the A12 taking it to Royal Green on Lowestoft seafront - where the bikes will park for the afternoon.

Last year organisers were delighted to present a cheque for £14,330 to the Senior Sister of the James Paget Hospital Accident and Emergency (A and E) Unit, from the proceeds of the cavalcade. This brought the total raised in the five years of this event to over £57,000!

In 2009, for traffic management reasons, there has to be a strict limit of only 1000 bikers accepted in the Cavalcade. Therefore, pre-registered entry will be strongly recommended to ensure a place.
